So, this was hardly unexpected, but Labour won the election; Kier Starmer is now PM. I'm yet to be convinced by him, as I have mentioned before. On the plus side, it seems to also be bye bye, Liz Truss; I could never stand her

I have a whole bunch of challenges at work, which I'm not sure how to tackle; just remembering that it's not a case of "I can't do it", but "I can't do it yet". I've been trying to get the hang of Power BI, and it's quite tricky; no progress today because I didn't get around to it, after an unexpectedly hectic start to the day.
That long-awaited site visit is meant to be today; it might get cancelled again, and that's out of my control. Maybe I can try and change my way of thinking about things I can't change, same with the overtime ban/strikes on trains that mean I had to get up early today again, to catch an earlier train

I'm aiming to get the basics right today; eating good food, getting outside for walks, and hopefully I'll get to bed on time despite going out after work.
I've packed my reusable cup to take to work, in case I want to get a coffee on the way.
